Rockets Sprummer U10 and U12 Tryouts Comming soon

Rockets Families,

We’re getting ready to get underway with our Under-10 and Under-12 Sprummer tryouts.

As a reminder, both groups will play using:

• Under-12 MBANS rules

• 10-foot nets

• 5v5 format

• Two officials

• Eight 4-minute shifts per game

• Fair Play rules

Our evaluation process is designed to assess all athletes fairly, with the goal of selecting approximately 40-44 players. Depending on numbers, we may create a blended U10/U12 structure with 2 divisions to ensure we maximize opportunities and place as many athletes as possible in the right development environment. 

The Sprummer League is built to give athletes the opportunity to continue developing their basketball skills without the high commitment of travel teams. It’s a great way to stay engaged in the game through the spring and summer, while still balancing other seasonal sports and activities.

Wednesday March 11, 2026 - Island View High School (6-7:45pm)

Thursday March 12, 2026 - East Dartmouth Community Centre (6-730pm)

U12

Monday March 9th, Horizon Rec Centre (Eastern Passage)

6-7pm (Last Names A-L)

7-8pm (Last Names M-Z)

Tuesday March 10th, Sir Robert Borden Jr High

6-7:15 pm (Last Names A-L)

7:15-8:30pm (Last Names M-Z)
